The Ceremony took place on Sunday afternoon last at Mount Saint Joseph Abbey, Roscrea and was performed by Most Reverend William Walsh, Bishop of Killaloe.

Fr Liam is a native of Carlow and has served with the Cistercian's for the last fifteen years. Those that know Fr Liam at local level will be delighted to know, that he will for the foreseeable future at least carry out his duties as a priest in his familiar surroundings of Mount Saint Joseph's Abbey. We wish him well in his vocation.

Locals Eileen Moloney, Nora Loughnane, Betty McCann, and Mary Pyne receive the holy sacrament of holy communion from Fr Liam O'Connor.
