The much anticipated Semi Final Stage of Tipperary Search For A Star takes place this Friday night the 9th of May at 8.30pm in the Auburn Lounge, Templemore Road, Roscrea. Amongst the contestants we have a number of Roscrea people who will need your support. Best wishes to Aideen Ryan, Frances Fitzgerald, Jason Simmons and local group R&A. Only two of the semi finalists will be allowed go forward to the grand final which takes place in the Ragg on May 30th.
The first round of the much-anticipated Tipperary Search For A Star took place recently in Grant's Hotel, Roscrea. On the night each contestant had to sing three songs, which were judged by Colm Wright (Audiolink), Aisling N Choisdealbha (Tipp FM) and Fran Curry (Tipp FM). After an eagerly contested competition, those lucky enough to be selected for the second round of the competition, included Michelle O'Dwyer from Nenagh and both Jason Simmons and Aideen Ryan from Roscrea. This week another set of first round heats takes place in Clonmel on April 10th and Nenagh on April 11th. The very best of luck to all involved.
